The CS17H / CS47H / CS67H adjustable bimetal sheet trap is the most robust of the thermostatic traps. Its advantages are: not afraid of water hammer, high pressure resistance, small size, light weight, not afraid of freezing, can automatically exhaust air, any position can be installed; back pressure rate is more than 80%.

The trap is suitable for steam pipe main pipe, pipe network heat tracing, instrument heat tracing, living heating and heating equipment with high temperature condensate allowed to drain, and has a wide range of applications.

Working principle

The adjustable bimetallic steam trap is driven by the bimetallic temperature sensing element to drive the valve core to switch valves. When the device is just started, low-temperature condensate appears in the pipeline, the bimetal sheet is flat, and the valve core is in the open position under the elastic force of the spring. As the condensate temperature increases, the bimetal sheet sensing element begins to bend and deform, pushing the valve center to the closed position. Before the condensate reaches the saturation temperature, the steam trap is completely closed. There is always high temperature condensation water before the valve, no steam leakage and good energy saving effect.
