CS16H and CS46H diaphragm box steam traps (steam pressure balance type) are the most commonly used advanced energy-saving traps in the world. The reaction of the diaphragm box steam trap is very sensitive. There is high temperature condensate water in front of the valve, no steam leakage, and the energy saving effect is remarkable.
The advantages of the diaphragm box steam trap are: automatic air exhaust, small size, no fear of freezing, can be installed at any position; easy maintenance, can be checked in the pipeline repair and replacement parts; the maximum back pressure rate is less than 80%, the diaphragm box is strong, long service life. Membrane box steam trap is suitable for steam main line, steam heat tracing pipe network, instrument heat tracing and steam drainage of small heating equipment.
Working principle
The main action element of the diaphragm box steam trap is a metal diaphragm box filled with a liquid whose gasification temperature is lower than the saturation temperature of water. When the device starts just in time, there is low temperature condensate in the pipeline, and the liquid in the membrane box is in condensation state. The valve is in the open position. When the condensate temperature rises gradually, the liquid in the diaphragm box begins to evaporate, the pressure in the diaphragm box rises, and the diaphragm drives the valve to move toward the closing direction. Before the condensate reaches the saturated temperature, the trap closes completely, and the diaphragm box controls the valve switch with the change of the steam temperature to prevent the steam from draining. There are two kinds of cartridge boxes with open valve temperature below 15 and 30 degrees at saturation temperature.
